Charles Conner at 79 years young stopped by the Fender Music Foundation to show off his chops on our Roland electronic drum kit. The man is known for creating that famous rock ‘n roll drumbeat on Little Richard’s song “Keep A Knockin”. Charles is writing a book, published soon by Waldorf Press, and it’s expected to be entertaining and promises to reveal some of rock ‘n roll’s most guarded secrets.
The Fender Music Foundation was created to provide resources for music programs across the United States so that kids and adults alike will have an opportunity to experience the joys of music.
